Joey Fuson is Tennessee’s leading cannabis attorney, focusing his practice on defending people charged with marijuana related offenses. Mr. Fuson is an experienced litigator, having tried numerous cases to judge and jury over the last 18 years, and brings this knowledge and experience to Hemp Law Group.

Having spent the last 18 years in criminal court fighting for citizens accused of crimes, speaking with entrepreneurs and farmers in Tennessee’s legal cannabis industry has been refreshing and inspiring.

Zack Lawson

Zack Lawson has extensive experience representing hemp companies of all types and sizes. From single dispensary owners to multi-state, fully-integrated operators, he has provided legal guidance to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
Focused on Tennessee’s ever-evolving legal landscape, Zack offers strategic regulatory advice to help business comply with Tennessee’s current laws and new rules. Recognizing that each hemp company is unique, Zack takes the time to build a deep understanding of each client’s business operations to address their specific regulatory challenges and mitigate compliance risks.
Clint Palmer
Hemp Client Manager
Clint has been active in the TN hemp industry since before its inception in 2014. He studied and researched hemp at MTSU in pursuit of his phD in Molecular BioSciences. While researching and studying full time in school, he also co-founded the TN Hemp Industries Association (Now Hemp Alliance of TN), that educated the industry, engaged with TN department of agriculture, and worked at the state legislature to pass legislation. Clint is also an active volunteer lobbyist and advisor for Tennessee Growers Coalition at the TN legislature Through his work, Clint has become a certified state and federal expert witness on medical marijuana and hemp. Clint is a trusted source for all Cannabis here in the state of TN.
Now with Hemp Law Group, Clint is the client manager for our Hemp division. He handles client communication, program education/onboarding, and also works closely with the attorneys on all things cannabis.
